I forgot my password — what should I do?

Use the Reset Password link on the login page. Enter the email address associated with your JBL account and follow the instructions in the email sent to you.

Manuscript Submission

What documents are required before submitting?

Typically, you will need the main manuscript file, a separate Title Page (for blind review compliance), and any relevant ethical clearance or copyright forms.

  • Tables and figures as separate files or embedded

Can I edit my manuscript after it has been submitted?

You may replace files while your manuscript is in the Screening stage. Once it has entered the Peer Review process, changes can only be made if requested by the Editor.

Peer Review Process

How long does the review process typically take?

JBL aims for a first decision within 4-6 weeks of submission. However, timelines can vary depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of the research topic.

What does 'Double-Blind Review' mean?

It means that neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other's identities. This ensures the review is purely based on scientific merit and remains unbiased.
