Author Guidelines
Preparing your manuscript for submission
Before You Begin
Please read these guidelines carefully. Manuscripts that do not adhere to these instructions may be returned to the authors without review.
Note: JBL employs a double-blind peer review process. Please ensure that your manuscript file (except for the Title Page) does not contain any identifying information.
Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format. The general structure should be as follows:
- Title: Concise and informative.
- Abstract: Structured or unstructured, max 250 words.
- Keywords: 4-6 keywords for indexing.
- Main Text: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
- References: APA 7th Edition style.
Formatting Requirements
- Font: Times New Roman, 12pt.
- Spacing: Double-spaced.
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Page Numbers: Bottom right.
- Headings: Clear hierarchy (H1, H2, H3).
Reference Style
JBL uses the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition referencing style. Please ensure all in-text citations match the reference list.
Journal Article:
Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Year). Title of article. Title of Periodical, volume number(issue number), pages.
Book:
Author, A. A. (Year). Title of work. Publisher.
