Publication Fees.
Our commitment to the free dissemination of knowledge through a zero-fee publication model.
Article Processing Charges
The Journal of Business and Law (JBL) believes that financial barriers should not hinder the publication of high-quality research. Accurate research should be accessible to all, regardless of institutional funding or individual wealth.
Currently, JBL does not charge any submission, processing, or publication fees. The costs associated with the rigorous peer-review, editorial management, and permanent online archiving are fully subsidized to support researchers in Malawi and globally.
Waiver Policy
Since our journal currently operates on a zero-fee basis, a waiver policy is not applicable.
Should there be any updates to our funding model in the future to ensure long-term sustainability, we remain committed to ensuring that authors from low-income regions and those with demonstrated financial need receive full or partial waivers.
Supporting Partners
JBL's sustainable open-access model is made possible through the generous support of the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) and affiliated research institutions.
